There is no doubt that we have enjoyed an exceptional September and October on Tiree, but there is just a hint of a change on the way. Daylight hours are much shorter and although the pier was not in darkness, the cloudy sky gave the distinct sense of the sun rising over the Island of Mull. The wind was gusting from a South Easterly direction, however the MV Clansman had no difficulty in berthing. Those visiting the island for the Tiree Wave Classic (2014) will be pleased with the strengthening wind and for those not so inclined thee is the promise of lengthy sunny spells.
